How much is your year 9 doing?
How are you supporting/ monitoring?
Any revision techniques you can recommend?

Flash cards, mind maps, you test, past papers if school has them for end y9.

e.g.
They make a mind map of causes of the 2nd world war from their notes.
Then they try to reproduce it.

It has to be active - not just rereading notes.

How important are these exams?
Have they already started GCSE syllabus in Science? If so good revision notes will save effort later.
Are sets/streams dependent on these exams? Is doing triple science or a second language dependent on the exams?

DD's had hers already. Flashcards and Seneca mainly.

Physics and maths tutor .com for science exam questions by topic.

Dr Frost for maths.

To be fair the teachers put loads of revision resources into Teams for them (past papers, exam style Qs etc) and I'm sure your school's teachers will have made resources accessible for their pupils.
