They'll have read your case thoroughly and will ask you any questions that might help them to understand your case better. What grounds are you appealing on? We might be able to give a better idea of potential questions.

They asked me have you looked around the allocated school. Then a question about our support network.
I had made bullet points of my main reasons for appealing and talked about them. The list was really useful because I felt like I panicked and didn’t know what to say next but luckily I could just looked down at my notes.
long wait for results now 😩

Well done. You've done all you can, so try to put it to the back of your mind.

Thats good op, as i got asked lots i didnt expect and rambled and contradicted myself.
Most of q were rubbish about why i didnt pick schools we couldnt get in. What a waste of the 30min i was allowed.
Then asked why didnt send to unit that needed ehcp which dc doesnt have .
School said lots that seemed to contradict my case (not q just statements) one of which ive realised was wrong.

We have an appeal hearing in a couple of weeks. My daughter attends church but the school we are appealing against required a form with 3 parts. One declaration by us we attended church. 2nd part declaration by vicar and part 3 to be completed by the same vicar and an unspecified time in the application that we attend church. Both parts were received but the school did not receive part 3. The vicar confirmed verbally over the phone but 2 requests by email and he did not submit part 3, so we were downgraded in the entry criteria without notice. And we lost our place. My daughter is dyslexic but does not require an ehcp. I wanted this school because of the Christian values and dyslexic care. Has anyone got any tips for our appeal hearing?

You need to start your own thread.

Is it a primary appeal or a secondary appeal?

Did he say why he didn't do the form?
