Any recommendations on these websites for grammar school test prep? Atom seems a lot more expensive.

We use Atom learning really like it. I have investigated this quite a lot and the general consensus seem to be not to over-rely on one platform. So have been using paper based tests as well. Also thinking about one of the mocks from the eleven plus exam preparation website.

We have practice books and papers too, just looking for something a bit more engaging.

I get what you're saying. Don't really think preparation for the 11 plus is that engaging for the vast majority of children. My child loved Atom to begin with thought it was really interactive etc. The novelty wore off after a few weeks... good luck with it all.

If anyone has an Atom subscription , they are doing a referral scheme now and you can receive £30 off if you share a code with someone who signs up <hopeful>

hey, here is the £30 off link for Atom Learning in case anyone may need it:

atomlearning.com/p/md4b5dOI

or use the code:md4b5dOI

We love Atom (for now) . Currently on monthly subscription. There is 5-days free trial,so no harm to have a try.

Initially I was put off by the price of Atom, and just wanted to take advantage of the free trial. And after using it for a while, it worths every penny for us.

My kid is bright but not self-motivated, so the engaging design is very helpful. I like the detailed diagnosis to know the strengths/weakness and areas to work on.
Also, I am not a patient parent and sometimes find it is challenging to teach my own kid. Now I just ask the kid to watch the video or read the helpsheet/explanation for the tricky questions - it works well for us.

The monthly fee is roughly 2-hour tutoring (low price range) and it offers much more value than that for us.

I will keep evaluating it to see if we will benefit in the long run.

How does BOFA differ from Atom?
