Does anyone have a child at Coopers School and can tell me if your child is doing well and happy there? I've heard mixed things about the school.

Also, if anyone has a SEN child, how is the SEN support?

Thanks!

I'd be really grateful for any feedback at all - good or bad!

If you are on faceBook, join Orpington Gossip 2.0 and do a search on there as there will be other views on some of the Bromley schools. Coopers is just your average state comprehensive, will have you pros and cons. From what I heard there is a SENCO for KS3 and a separate SENCO for KS4. They offer lunch time clubs and intervention support for those kids who need it, perhaps ASD and find socialising difficult.

with all these schools you will find some parents say their child is well supported but with other parents they say otherwise. Look around the open days and also look during an open morning so you can get a more realistic feel for the place.

Worse school in the area. Teacher's don't have any control. Bullying is rife in this school.Glad my daughter worked hard and we got her out. Any decent Teacher's leave.
