Hi

I'm after recommendations of school trousers that are longer in the crotch, I think.

My DS (11) has been wearing straight leg joggers due to sensory needs. His new school will encourage proper school trousers, which is fine.
I got some for him to try and the only issue he had was that his pants showed when he sat down.

Would a plus size school trouser help this issue or are they just a bigger waist?

Anyone with school trouser wisdom would be wonderful
TIA

Plus size is normally wider all over. I tend to go next size up with adjustable waist to give a bit more room.

Markies do an easy on school trouser which is school trouser material but with an elasticated waist which might be worth a try. They also do some in jersey material which might not be acceptable though.

I really don’t understand why children need to be clad in polyester to learn. Our local high school has widened the school uniform policy to include black denims/ other black trousers and black trainers which seems sensible.

Try asda George - we go up a size (adjustable waist) seem softer cotton than M and S which feels like polyester which my other boy wears ....

Thank you both I'll have a look.
Think I'll just have to order lots from different places and see what works best.

The school have said we can work with them if needed with regards to change of uniform . So we'll see what happens.

Thank you Smile
