Art grades

My son got some marks back for his final piece but it has been given in numbers not actual grades. I’ve no idea what it means. I’ve tried looking at grade boundaries and one I looked at was much worse than the other. Does anyone know how I can find our? Aqa is the exam board

You can't. There are no grades at this stage.
Schools have to give you the mark but the grades for this year won't be published until august.

Grade boundaries won't be calculated until all schools have submitted their marks and the work has been moderated. Grade boundaries will not be available until results day.

All you can do is look at past boundaries and make an educated guess. We use the 2019 boundaries for predicting grades for a similar subject.

Yeah, we've looked at 2019 boundaries to give us an idea. I think she got 76 and it's out of 96? So it's looking like an 8 hopefully but 74 was the boundary in 2019 (AQA) so it might end up a 7
