Millfield School

Hi - I am interested in hearing from current Millfield parents (swim parents a bonus). We are considering sending our son to start in Year 9 but are unsure whether we are making the right decision since our son is also thriving in his current school, overseas. Any feedback is most welcomed!

Don't bother with Millfield especially for swimming. The coaches are only interested in what your child can do for them and how they might advance the coaches career. Academics are, at best , average. Leave your child thrive in his current school.

We used to live near Millfield, a friend is former student and Olympian swimmer and now is a swimming coach there. I know they have produced Olympian swimmers but don’t know what the school is now.

I think we're talking abouth the same swimming coach. Our experience of him was one of neglect and disinterest in our swimmers progress.
