We have our appeal next week and have just received our pack from the school and their argument for not taking my ds is, unsurprisingly, because they are full.
In summary, classrooms are physically too small to accommodate more children (they are smaller than DofE guidance for 30 but have 32 in them). But what has confused me is this bit, net capacity is 872 and maximum 969, giving advised admission number of 159. PAN is 160 (Y7 spaces have all been accepted). School currently has 952 on roll.
As the school is not full overall can I argue that they do have room for ds?
