Amazon try before you buy. Often next day delivery

I’ve just bought my sons from Suit Direct. £120 for trousers, waistcoat and trousers and he looks amazing in it. Came within 3 days, was about £5 delivery I think?

Ashara · 05/05/2023 23:21

Sorry that should say trousers, waistcoat and jacket!

Ashara · 05/05/2023 23:21

Just trousers and jacket was £89 if you don’t want/need the waistcoat

Have a look on eBay. Or local wedding hire shop.
I went in to hire DS his for prom 2 yrs ago and they were closing down so picked up suit and bow tie for £70. It was on the big size but he just about fits into it for his sixth form leavers ball. I will have to let the trousers out but most suit trousers are adjustable. Even if he only gets to wear it this one more time it was still a bargain at £35 per prom.

Very lucky here as my son can fit right into my dh suit that he's only worn once for a wedding.. its a really nice 3 piece one so only have to buy a shirt and tie!

However when I went in Next the other day, they had a huge selection of suits, really nice ones.

Thanks for your ideas! I am looking fir something smart but not too expensive as he isn’t likely to wear it again and no doubt he will grow out of it pretty quickly as well! Will look into these options 🙏
