Very niche question but does anyone know whether Colfe's offer staff fee remission and if so how much and for how many years (I.e. prep and senior?)?

Many thanks

think every independent school does? have you asked?

arlequin · 05/05/2023 20:50

Most do but some don't... I'm not really keen to ask for the moment 😂 but just interested in the percentage and for how long as may be interested in a job in the future
Thanks

I think they do but no sure on the %.

frost8bite · 10/05/2023 06:44

I'm also keen to find out! Anyone know!?

MedbN · 11/05/2023 20:51

ex colleague's husband worked there and they had 2 kids attending - one primary age and one secondary age. Think it was 25% they had off for each child but not 100% sure.

arlequin · 11/05/2023 21:09

Thanks @MedbN thats really helpful. With fees as high as they are and our salaries don't think 25% would be realistic for us.

It’s usually 50% in most Ind Schools but have a look at any jobs they are advertising on TES and read the benefits which is usually in the info

mummywithtwokidsplusdog · 12/05/2023 19:26

Some independent schools are phasing this out - or reducing the % reduction. Where I worked used to be 50% off but I believe it is now 30% off. Could you get a friend to call and ask?!

arlequin · 09/12/2023 22:17

Any update on this by any chance? Thanks!!

Is 25% about right?

my friend works there. Pretty sure it’s 50%.

arlequin · 10/12/2023 22:20

Thanks @newmum1976 😀

Would prob depend what role. Teaching/support staff may attract different fee remission.
i applied for a support role years ago (but turned down the interview as secured another role) which stated on the application that particular role did not receive any fee remission.

arlequin · 14/12/2023 21:24

@PammieDooveOrangeJoof thanks so much, would be for a teaching role
