Process after appeals? Super stressed😭

Hello. This is for anyone that has sat on appeal boards or been through this before. My appeal was last Wednesday and they said they'd be back within 5 school days. Obviously I know it hasn't been that yet but I am constantly on edge and it's really messing with my mental health 😢 I've found this whole appeals thing really stressful and draining tbh. What happens after the appeal. They said they were meeting on Friday 28th to discuss and make decisions. There was 18 appeals will they all be decided on one day? What happens then?

They will have discussed the appeals on friday and made decisions on all at that point.

In my LA, quick letters would then go out today (because of Bank Hols) with the decision, with a followup letter detailing the full decision and why. LAs do differ in how they do it though - mine don't call or give out results on the phone, but I know others do.

Thank you. That's good to know the decisions will have been made now. They said the letter would be sent via email. I'm really hoping I hear back soon🤞

The clerk will write quite detailed letters explaining why the appeal either was or wasn't accepted. They will have to write them for all 18 appeals so suspect you won't hear anything until the last minute
