DD is in Year 10 and due to sit her mock GCSEs this month. She's a sensible and lovely girl, but she stresses so much and it's taking everything I have to get her to chill!! Have given her time and space to prepare in a way that feels comfortable for her, regardless of her grades in the mocks it's made her realise that she can't leave things last minute like she sometimes does. Being the parent of a child preparing for their GCSEs is a delicate balancing act, getting her to take them seriously whilst making her understand that she doesn't need to stress so much. I can't believe how much there is to do for her 10 GCSEs. How is everyone doing?
