We've just been offered a place for sixth form. Are there any current parents out there who could tell me what it's like?

This is an amazing school. I lived close by for many years and used to take my kids to swimming lessons ar weekends. The campus is beautiful.

I think your daughter would do very well there. Good luck.

The girls I know who have gone to Reeds in the 6th form have had to be quite “robust” - they are going into a very male orientated situation and there is an element of “banter” that they may have to endure while they settle in.

Congratulations- the five or six girls I know that joined have absolutely loved it and thrived. Is she musical/sporty and/or academic? I do know a bright girl that was not offered a place and I suspect that was due to her personality.

@TuttiFrutti - did you take the place at Reed's and if so, what's been your experience?

Robinmorgan7, yes we did. Initially our dd was quite wobbly - it was a big change for her - but it's now all good. It's an excellent school. Took a while to find her people, and the atmosphere is very full on, so the first few weeks took some adjustment.
