Conditional offers for sixth form places

Hi all,

Hoping someone can help me get through the sixth form process for my daughter. She is in year 11 and applied to a few sixth forms. She is not sure which one she wants to go to and also if she will meet the grade criteria for them all (each one has different grade criteria's) and her grades are jumping around a bit on her 2 mock exams she has done. She has so far only recieved one response from a sixth form which was a conditional offer post an interview with them. She also today sat another interview with a different sixth form but will not hear until later in April on whether she will be given a conditional offer.
The issue is that we thought we had to respond to the first offer and accepted it, but I think she wants to be open about the others.
My question/concern is that if the first conditional offer has been accepted will the other sixth forms know and will they then not offer her a place that they may otherwise had made? So has accepting the first offer closed the doors on the other sixth forms?

We dont have experinace on this and so not sure what the right process should be but I really dont want to close offers from other sixth forms beacuse of the mistake of accepting the first offer.

Appreciate it if anyone can give any advice on this. Or do sixth forms not really share this information and we are overthinking this

Hopefully its the latter

Thanks in advance for your advice

They don't share information (can't - GDPR!) so don't worry. Most kids accept several offers and decide once they've got their GCSE results.

The (state) 6th forms round us encourage students to accept multiple offers at this stage. The two near us have the same kind of grade criteria. Most DC accept both, and only pick a college once they have their results. Their school reminds them to make sure they accept their offers within 2 weeks of getting them, even if they are hoping to go somewhere else.

I don't know about the private system or other counties.
