OCR Computer Science materials? 8 marker

Does anyone have recommendations for tackling the content of the 8 marker question. DC has not been given any guidance. They can see from the markscheme they need to talk about cultural, environmental and ethical issues, but has been given a question that relates to healthcare and doesn't really know anything about that.

@BunnyCross Can you post the question?

Both my sons did OCR GCSE computer science and A level. Ds2 is in year 12, so has recent memories of GCSE and he got a grade 9 for computer science GCSE.

He says it is question specific so post it here and he will help describe how to answer it. It won't be that your son has been taught about healthcare specifically, but what things he can apply his own opinions to from the things he has been taught. As a side note, both sons highly recommend Craig n Dave on YouTube for revision for GCSE.

I understand it is past the hand-in date now, but thank you so much for your kind reply. I think it came as a bit of a shock that they needed to answer this type of question at all because they have not covered these in lessons. They can see that there is a formula to answering the questions as specified in the markscheme, but had not realised that they need to think about specific examples themselves. At least they know now!

@BunnyCross no worries, well any questions about OCR computer science before the exams just @ me and then it will notify me just like I did to you. Craig n Dave on YouTube is a great resource and easy to digest, he just has to watch it.

This type of question also applies to science, every year for AQA someone says we haven't been taught about carrots but it is applying the knowledge of something to that situation.
