Ipstock Place Or Harrodian

Hello!
My DD got accepted both to Harrodian and Ibstock Place for Year 10.
However, we are completely undecided.
She is very smart and very interactive and social kid as well. She is excellent in both Maths, Science and Art!
Both schools look great actually; however, somehow Ibstock seems a little on a higher level, but the worst thing is to get there from South Park, Fulham. It is quite a journey for her every single morning.
However, Harrodian has a school bus from Fulham which is almost a door deliver. What would you recommend? Any insight to compare both? Does ibstock worth to send my kid with two bus for almost 50 min.
By the way Ibstock has only bus service from Barnes station which doesn’t practical for us.

We had the same choice but at 11+ and decided on harrodian. TBD on if it was the right choice, my dd will start in September. If worried about the academics at harrodian I would look at results and leavers destinations for both. I think ibstock has marginally better results but university results look more impressive from harrodian.

Harrodian. Every time. Ibstock is ok but not a patch on Harrodian.

Go with Harrodian if for no other reason that they have the bus. Both are good schools but nicer for you DC to not have to worry about getting there efc

Not the original poster- but I have a dd in year 7 at Harrodian and had to decide between Harrodian, Ibstock and Emanuel. In the end we made the choice, largely, because Harrodian is the most convenient. She is very happy at the school, I expected her to be near the top in the class but isn’t in the top Maths set. It also offers more competitive sport than I expected. Lots of girls play for county netball/hockey outside of school. The drama and art provisions are well known and that is as I expected. I can’t comment on ibstock and Emanuel but my daughter has friends at those schools and they also seem happy and they all have similar results, so I think the most convenient is probably the best choice.
