Newstead wood or Jags final decision

Year 7 entry. Jags is a full-fee offer. Both schools are similar distances over 1 hr travel.
My girl is academic (self-motivated and works hard) and a talented musician (not orchestra instruments). Her art is good but not sporty. I have arranged many outside school clubs/activities. She is in the state primary(very good music).
We have two girls. The fee is affordable, but I wonder if the differences between the above schools are worth the fee-paying (Both are academically good).
Both have very good close boys' schools around. Newstead and St Olave (another six-form option) , Jags- Dulwich college. They both organise some music and study events together and share the coach.

Do you have any feedback regarding future GCSE choices and six forms? Also, teaching, headteacher and students' behaviour confidence). I know Jags has better facilities. What is your opinion of the options? Many thanks :)

My daughter goes to Newstead. We know a couple of girls at JAGS. Their experience is much better all round. It’s not just facilities - the level of resources just makes it a better experience.

If you can afford I’d say definitely go for JAGS. If you can’t of course Newstead will be ok, better than the average state school.
