Could anyone recommend a workbook or downloadable worksheets for DS2. Everything I can find is aimed at 11+ or GCSE and he needs something in between the two. He just needs something to practice 5-10 minutes a day.

I would suggest using Dr Frost maths website. It is free and you can choose specific topics and difficulty level. Start with KS3 Algebra difficulty level 1-2 and then you can move to 2-3 and 2-4 and so forth. My y7 DD uses it for school and it is very, very helpful for revision.

You could try the CIMT websites - they are like onlike books - and although pretty old now - lots of the materials are very good.

Here is the Y8 one for example.
