Secondary Waiting Lists

Tell me your good news stories please?! We didn't get any of our preferred choices so I emailed straight away for waiting list for all 3.

Website was very clear not to contact council after this but should I be a squeaky wheel?!?

This is really encouraging to read.

We live in Slough and on waiting list for 4 grammars position 13, 15, 36 & 40.

Our preferred school we are 2.421 miles away they last offered to 1.941 miles ooc and went up 0.64miles in catchment

Now we are eagerly awaiting the 3rd round on 16 June

We are also appealing and have Stage 2 on 9 June

@FusionChefGeoff do you mind me asking how you got on in the end?

We have just lost an appeal for our 1st preference school even though we are in catchment. My son is 3rd on the list at the moment. I am getting very worried as the school he's been given has a poor ofsted result and none of his friends are going.

My dd been on the waiting for the past 3 years
Just moved to 9th place on the list for 1st choice.
I WAS HOPING FOR MY DD TO GET IN THE SCHOOL BY NOW😥
