clsg vs forest

hi! dd received an offer from both city of london girls and forest school in the past week and we would really appreciate any advice on people who have been in a similar situation.
she’s very sporty and good at languages (she speaks 3 fluently already and is eager to learn more). commute is no issue. we’d prefer the school with better sports facilities but not so sure about co-ed as dd has been in girls only for her whole life.
any current parents or students PLEASE advise us on any thing that may help us with the decision :) !
thank you!!!

just a quick add on note: we have an older daughter currently attending shhs. we recieved an offer for there too but younger dd did not like it so much so we decided to decline.

hi we're at the junior not senior school to Forest and my DD really enjoys it...academic stretch but not massive pressure. good drama/ music. and brilliant for sport. i think clsg feels much more urban and obvs single sex but i can't comment on it as have no experience of it as parent. good luck! x

my DDs both love clsg and it has excellent languages.

but as a city-centre location it probably has less sport.

Hi! Just wondering if you decided to go with forest or city? My son has just been offered a spot at forest in year 1 and we are coming from Hackney so are worried if it’s doable. Also worried if it’s academic enough. Would love your thoughts!

My son is in senior school at Forest. He is super sporty and absolutely loves it. He has felt a bit of pressure academically so I would say it is the right balance for a kid who is well rounded.

my daughter will be joining prep in September. We’re really happy with the school.

Hi all - any views on CLSG vs Forest appreciated. Which is easier commute from Hackney? Do children travel alone? Co-Ed vs single sex? What would be maximum commute recommended?
