Peace Education Teaching Resource and Survey

Hello wonderful teachers!
I'm a student at the University of St Andrews, and part of the Visualising Peace project here at the university.

We have a teaching resource, The Visualising Peace Museum, that might prove an interesting resource to explore with your students: peacemuseum.wp.st-andrews.ac.uk.

The Visualising Peace research team is currently exploring the different forces that shape how young people (aged 5-18) go on to understand, imagine, experience and build peace, both in their everyday lives and at more political/community-based levels. We are particularly interested in the different forms that peace education can take, and we would love to hear from both primary and secondary school teachers about the ways in which different aspects of peace are taught in different subject areas and different educational settings.

Our research is not restricted to concepts of peace that are directly related to war; we are also interested in education around inner peace, love/care/friendship, social justice, sustainable development, responsible debate, and other personal and political practices that are foundational to a peaceful future.
We also would be so grateful if you could find a few minutes of your time to complete this survey yourself:

and also to share it with any colleagues for whom it might be relevant.
Thanks for all the wonderful things you do and please don't hesitate to comment if you'd like to hear more about the project!
