We are moving to Wimborne and sending our child to QE school for yr 9 soon,

Well, I know where it is, but thet's all I know 😃. Maybe you could join a Wimborne town Facebook group? I live near Swanage and people moving to the area often ask about local schools on the Swanage FB group.
