Turn down firm 11 plus offer for waitlist?

Would you turn down a firm offer to take a chance on a wait list? Or would you be prepared to pay two deposits?

I would pay two deposits if it came to it. However, you could always wait until the last minute deadline to pay the first deposit and see if the second one opens. We had to do this for our youngest dd nursery school. She got into one and we had to pay a 1,500 deposit to hold the spot knowing we would not find out about the first choice one until later...so we lost the money, as we did not want to take the chance of her not getting in. Perhaps if you gamble for the WL and are fine for the state school option?

Heard of SPGS WL moving in summer term so people already put down deposits. Also, some movements due to change of mind and 2 deposits placed.

We plan to accept the form offer but I have seen others who have a harder decision to make.
