Hello! I am looking to speak to parents with children in St. Margaret’s, Bushey senior school. Our Son had an offer for Y7 and he attended a taster day which he absolutely loved. We were also very fond of the school, the headmistress and all the investment going into the school facilities and staff. Keen to speak to someone currently at school or considering joining to hear first hand experience, especially parents of boys.

thank you!

Not currently in the senior school, but we are Y6 at St Margaret’s and they very much enjoyed meeting the taster day students this week! Do PM if you would like. We are delighted with the school.

My DS has got an offer for 13 plus St Margaret's in Bushey so any parents here who can advise and review the school for high school boys as its recent co-ed only, DS is all rounder but not super academic

@stanmore - congratulations to your DS! Although co-ed is relatively recent is is now very embedded in the life of the school. The only year group remaining of all-girls is current Y11, so by the time your DS joins in September, and the Y11s have moved up to 6th form, the school will be completely co-ed.

It’s a lovely school, and a great place for all-rounders with lots to join in with. I have a DS who is very happy and has made lovely friends. He’s also making fantastic academic progress. The teaching and pastoral support are both excellent and the value-added comes from that, which is important to us. I hope your DS will enjoy it - I am sure he will.
