Riddlesdown Croydon or Langley Park West Wickham

We're looking to move slightly further out this summer. Prioritising a good secondary for DS (Y5) then DD (Y4).

Looking at rightmove we have narrowed down to Kenley/Riddlesdown or Eden Park/West Wickham.

DS would prefer co-ed and DD single sex (their views, not mine) but either way, I can't please all.

Does anyone have any thoughts and experience of these schools? Thanks.

Hi - we live in Kenley and my daughter will be going to Riddlesdown next year. We love the area (lots of green space, lovely neighbours, easy access to London/Gatwick/countryside). Have heard only glowing reviews about the school and they have been very responsive with my family about transition from primary. A lot of facilities for a comprehensive including great sports and arts specialities. Strong academically. Let me know if you have any specific questions, will try and help.

Hi, we are also going to have a viewing in Kenley. If you have time to answer my questions about the area, I would appreciate it. How are the schools and transportation? My husband and I will be commuting to London headquarters three days a week. Is transportation easy, and are delays common? Is the area generally good and safe for raising a child?
