Headington School Oxford

My dd got the Y7 offer from Headington School. Since I'm new to Oxford, would be lovely if anyone can share opinions about this school, regarding to,

1. pastoral care
2. Is it an academic driven school?
3. discipline?
4. student mix?

Just bumping this as I know there are lots of people on here with daughters there.

Buuuut did you not research it at all before choosing? What would be your other choices?

I have no personal experience as have only ds’ but I know a dozen or so colleagues and friends with girls at Headington. Overall they all speak very positively about it, grumbles I hear tend to be about it being very large so somewhat impersonal, girls can put a lot of pressure on themselves (and therefore this becomes a group effect) and lots of expensive sports kit. All of these are pretty ubiquitous for large high performing girls schools though!
Hope someone with more useful info posts.

I did research this school but would like to get some local insight as I’m not living in Oxford and planning moving to there. I heard people speak high about this school but suddenly heard an education consultant said the pastoral care is bad…

Another choices is St Helen and St Katherine School.
