Technology and Distraction - Apps/Websites to Block Certain Sites?

Any recommendations? Particularly on the computer. Are there any tools you would recommend which block access to sites like instagram, TikTok and YouTube but which allow your teen to use the computer for homework and revision? Thanks.

We used to block things with our Virgin home safety broadband.
You may find that youtube is needed though as it is often linked to by schools and some tools like Seneca.

Mine are a nightmare for this. Use Seneca, DrFrost, bite size & you tube for homework.. but they get distracted by insta and shorts & Netflix
