Work Experience 16 YO Science

i am trying to help DD find 2 weeks WE after GCSEs - she is doing Chemistry/Biology/Maths A level and interested in a science-oriented degree, not sure what yet or what career (not doctor). Would love research, lab-based experience but open to anything that might suit a chemistry/biology etc grad. Looking at eg GSK their schemes are aimed at broadening access, as are Uni researched-based opportunities that she has asked about. I was wondering about pharmacy? I wondered if anyone had any ideas? She’s keen, bright, curious and hard working.

Where are you based? DS did a placement at Great Ormond St last summer after his GCSEs. They have special schemes for students after their GCSEs. DS spent quite a lot of time observing operations in one area, but they do give the students a choice of different departments to suit their requirements.

We are SW London suburbs so anywhere in London would be fine - or elsewhere if we have friends or family nearby. We’ll take a look at GOSH thanks.
