Catchment for the schools below

Good evening all and happy new year!!!

Could someone please help. We are purchasing a property in Mosborough ( S20) but I am now starting to worry about secondary schools.

Do the schools below only accept children based on catchment? My research shows that these are some of the best schools in Sheffield so I am keen to understand more about the catchment.

I am also open to any suggestions on any other secondary which does not apply catchment but considered, good please.

Thanks a lot

The admissions criteria will be on the school websites so you can check there.

Sheffield is different to most areas in that Sheffield seem to define the school catchment (many other LAs don’t define the catchment but rely more on over-subscription criteria like distance, siblings etc), you can check more on both the school admissions and the Sheffield catchment checker tool:

If you go here: www.sheffield.gov.uk/schools-childcare/apply-school-place and then click on the excel spreadsheet link 'Oversubscribed Schools' you can see the information you need I think.

Are you looking at possible secondaries for the future (to help decide where to live), or a school that your child will join as soon as you move?
