Harrow School vs Dulwch/Whitgift

My DS has prepared for 13+ year 9 entry for senior schools.
He got an offer from Harrow School and he was so excited about the result. Because we live in London, day schools are accessible, so he sat pre-test and will take final exam from Dulwich & Whitgift school next year for same year 9 entry.

I was told to put deposit next month. Can I seek for your view on Harrow School whether it worth holding the place and comparison with Dulwich and Whitgift school?

Surely boarding v day boy and the fees at Harrow are a consideration. There is a big difference between being a day boy at Whitgift and attending Harrow that you must have picked up at the open days. Also what is your ds's sporting ability, ie are you going for the cricket at any of these schools?

Thank you for your reply. Yes, we were able to see many things during visits and told about schools. However, I wish to know real external reputation, not relying on what school says us only. My DS loves to play cricket😊, but maybe he could try other sports as well. The most important thing for me to consider is academically how much school supports students and university application. No of recent five years Oxbridge acceptance is not that much different. Also, wish to know general reputation from US Ivy league university application as well. Please kindly let me seek for your view. Thank you.
