Hi to all the 11 plus Mummies/Parents out there - how are you doing?
How are the DC's? Which schools have they done and are about to do? Its a nerve wracking business isnt it! Certainly seems harder than in our day and less places available? What are your thought on the different tiers? Hardest to get into down to easier to get a place?
We want a lovely school that pushes them to be the best they can be - but also a fabulous place for children to thrive that isn't incredibly pressured.
DS is middle of the class but bright and loves Drama and Science - pretty good at Maths too, its just the English he's been Tutored in and we've only been able to do it for the last 6 months so he is of course up against DC's who have been tutored for longer (and are top of the class!) but hopefully its helped and is so much better now.
Anyones kids doing exams for Ibstock and Emanuel? How did the find Ibstock if they did it yesterday? DC said it was hard but no idea if did well. Anyone have kids that did Emanuel last year? As we have it coming up soon - any tips appreciated.
Which one harder to get into do you have any idea? How does it compare to KGS and Latitmer?
