Interviews for 11+ places

DS is sitting exams at the moment and then fingers crossed there will be invitations to interviews in the post for January. What sort of things are they looking for in one to one interviews? Does this differ to group tasks?
He's applied to KGS, Hampton and Claremont FC among others. Any information or advice would be great!

Hmm, my DDs did interviews for various academic north london schools. got asked things like

• what subject / extras do you do / enjoy etc
• why do you want to come to this school
• various logic problems

What are you reading a/
What do you watch on television?
DS was asked to talk about something he had read in the newspaper and wowed them with a story about a baby found alive under rubble after an earthquake.
Some schools ask candidates to read a poem out loud.
Your DS needs the opportunity to practice interview technique. Perhaps you could pay a tutor for a one off session?
