We’ve applied from a neighbouring borough to Hackney secondary schools. Child has to sit a CAT4/Banding test in a Hackney school.
Letter from eAdmissions says the test will be 3 hours, which seems a long time for Year 6 pupils to concentrate for. DC says the banding tests they did in school for our borough were spread over a few sessions.
Can anyone whose child has done the test (either in Hackney or elsewhere that has the same system), share what the experience was like? Is it 3 continuous hours or with breaks (seems reasonable to expect them)? Thanks.
