Hello, would appreciate if anyone could share recent experience of above school. I went to the open day and now read the reviews on google which are overall dreadful, but maybe people who are happy with the school don't share too much. My child is academically very good, but he is outgoing at the same time. Discipline is fine (and never got detention over the years in primary school or other disciplinary measures), but if it draconian, military type I am wondering if this is the right choice. Thanks so much for sharing !!!

DD went to 6th form there (left 4 years ago). She really struggled with the shouty atmosphere and style of discipline, especially so as she had attended a girls-only secondary. She got good grades and made some nice friends though!

Thanks so much for your feedback. I am struggling a little for the same reason as well. My son is bright and doing very well academically, but quite jolly and I don't want to extinguish this little light by overzealous discipline. How was the extra curriculum?

My DS is currently there in Yr9. We knew very little about the school before he went as we aren’t in close catchment areas. Think north west London rather than Hounslow, Ealing etc. Our experience has been fine to date. Their exam results seem very good. Prior to my DS starting, the various rules worried me a bit but I think it’s definitely not as harsh as it may seem. My DS is very well behaved and there haven’t been any issues regarding over zealous teachers etc. I suspect they lay it on a bit thick for Yr7 but as an example, mobile phones are carried by most pupils despite rules saying not to be used on way to school or in school.

hello, opening the same thread again. Would like to know did you accept the offer and your son is happy there? I am in same dilemma and has been offered the place for my son. I am confused whether to accept or refuse ? Thanks
