Tunbridge Wells Boys Grammar

Hi,
We are moving to Tunbridge Wells and have the option to move our year 7 son to either the boys grammar or Bennett. He is quite academic and very good at maths. Can anyone offer advice on how challenged he will be at either school? He gets very bored if he finds work too easy.

Boys grammar doesn't have the best reputation locally!

My child goes to Bennett and I think it's a lovely school, it gets really good results and has a nice atmosphere.

Hi - i am researching schools in the Tunbridge Wells area for boys grammar. WE are moving back to the UK from aborad after 8 years so doing all our due diligence before making the return. will it be possible to share any positive or negative details about Tunbridgre wells boys grammar? How is the school in terms of behaviour and pastoral care? Does the school excel academically?
Would appreciate any comments or input , thanks.

My son has just finished year 7 at TWGSB and we have been really impressed. He is doing very well academically (predicted all 8/9s on the GCSE “flight path”) and he seems really happy. They seem to really care about them as individuals and pastoral care has been great. Very much a good all rounder school.

My son has just finished yr 12 at Boys Grammar, he loves it there. I don’t think it’s true to say it has a bad reputation, I don’t know anyone who hasn’t been happy with it. Pastoral care is great and academically it’s strong. Bennett is very religious and strict, I have friends with kids there who don’t like it.

Not fair to say Bennett is very religious and strict either! 😕 I know lots who have been there including my brother so thats BS! But each to their own!
