Hello everyone! Long Post Alert
I'm in desperate need of some advice please. Both my hubby and I are both from Scotland but we are currently in Ireland (due to work) with our wee one who's 4. It looks like we are due to come back to Scotland early next year and my big concern is schools!
We are currently looking for a house in the South Lanarkshire district, may consider Borders too. My wee one will be due to start primary school next year and I'm super concerned at where will be best for him. I'm not religious but my hubby is and our wee one is christened, he would like him to go to a catholic school and I'm just more concerned about what will be the best school and secondary school, so open to any ideas really. I'm originally from Edinburgh and my hubby is originally from Glasgow, so neither of us are sure about schools in the area. Also, my wee one is an only child (couldn't have anymore unfortunately), and so I'm even more aware that he will be on his own, starting a new school after leaving all his friends from nursery see in Ireland. I really want him to get the best education with a good group of friends......I know, same as every mum wants! 😁
Can anyone recommend what is the best primary and secondary schools there is?
Any advice is really appreciated 🙂
