Not sure if this is the best place to post this. Our DD2 is in year 5 and has dyscalculia, so is very unlikely to pass the Kent Test next year. DD1 is at a local grammar school in Y7, but this means that last year we went and looked at all the schools around and we really liked St George's as the non-selective option. Except that it is selective based on faith, which trumps distance as an admissions criteria.
I can't find anywhere online - and haven't been able to work out by talking to other parents - any information about how far away you have to live to get in without having attended church regularly for 1-2 years ...
We live 0.6 miles away as the crow flies (0.8 walking distance). Does anybody either have info about getting into St George's without attendance at a faith institution, and/or about how to find out catchment areas for a specific school?
