i know what I asked before, I’m not confused about the process. I’m trying to gauge the likeness of admissions based on where I live. As I’m likely to be judged on distance no other criteria

The best way to judge your chances is to look at the furthest first round distance from previous years. Most London councils have this on their website. Also ask people on your road, or just look at the uniforms on the kids arriving home on your road.

Hi there OP, not all schools prioritise on distance, you need to look at the admissions policy for the year of admission on the school’s website - are you looking for Yr 7 admission in September 2023?

Dunraven would be my top choice, and Woodmansterne if you are within reach. Norwood? Have you got Catholic credentials for BTG? And try for a lottery place at Kingsdale.

Remember that they ‘last distance’ given for admissions last year is for National Offer Day. It will widen out a bit as waiting lists places come available.
