Grammar school

My son sat his grammar school exam
on the 17th of September and during the half time break he felt a bit sick. He was sent home by the examiners and so was unable to sit the second half of the exam. I have emailed the council to ask if they will allow him to sit the second half and complete the exam but I was wondering if anyone has experienced this and if you know if it is likely that they will allow him to compete the exam? I am really anxious as he worked so hard for the lead up to the exam and he really wants to finish the test.

What happened?? Is there any news?

They should have a sick child policy. A new date is normal.

For our grammar school it's up to the school (we only have one in our area) and they usually have a second date in December for those who couldn't sit it in September. They have a policy relating to illness and bereavement, etc.

Ours has a second date bit not sure how it works of he's already seem the paper.

For ours it says if you turn up to he exam you are assumed to be fit and healthy. You have to tell them before you go in if you are ill.
