Harrogate Grammar in year admissions year 10

Hi. I have applied to move my (current) year 9 daughter from Rossett to HGS for year 10. Initially declined on the basis of oversubscription - I have appealed and now have the appeal hearing booked for 2 weeks time. Any tips please? I hear the best thing is to focus on what the new school can give my daughter and emphasise that taking on one additional child does not cause as big an impact as her remaining in her existing school?
Also
does anyone also know the published admissions number (Pan) for year 10 and if that capacity was reached please??

Pan for all year groups 7-11 is 290
i think it is exceeded in all of those year groups
far better bet for getting her in from Rossett is to make pals with the y10 year manager at HGS, , tell her how great your kid is, email frequently to say you can move at any point, and take a place from a y10 mover, there will be one.
