Congratulations to DS. You must be very proud.

As for houses, go with your gut instinct. We had three boys there … each in different houses two eat in one eat out. All were equally happy despite having very different interests. Housemasters do change reasonably frequently so don’t over analyse the choice of housemaster.

My DS is there. We looked at three. Don’t over analyse it. Our housemaster changed after we had chosen, but it’s not the end of the world.
what I would say is that we are overseas parents but the majority of boys in the house live in London. This means that DS is often in a fairly empty house on B weekends. Check the diversity of others in your intake for each house.
DS eats at Bekynton (centrally) and enjoys this rather than a house that eats in-house.
