Is it worth getting papers remarked?

DD has been very unlucky with grade boundaries. For 4 subjects she's missed the next grade up by 1-2 marks.

I'm thinking of having them re-marked- realistically though do grades ever change?

We paid £11 for each script last week, for WJEC A level English lit.

Does the school normally flag it if they think you should consider a review or is it a good idea to ask? Dd one mark off a 9 in maths - happy obviously but it’s tantalisingly close and so she’s wondering …

My school opted for a remark for my son. One of his grades ended up higher. The rest the same.

I would get them remarked as they are so close to a higher grade.
