AQA A-level Chemistry leak - candidates disqualified

Apparently candidates who had access to the full paper after it was stolen from a Parcelforce van have been disqualified.

Those who had access to extracts online - it was deemed that these were of too shitty a quality to offer a clear advantage (i.e. those candidates still got the same grade) and there was no impact on grade boundaries.

Hopefully this will offer some reassurance to those who sat the paper that they will not have been unfairly disadvantaged.

How on earth can the they know who saw what?!

noblegiraffe · 17/08/2022 18:46

I guess from the fact that students and schools flagged it up that they'd seen questions online, they could compare their scripts to those of other students?

And those who weren’t daft enough to day they had seen stuff?
also, how can comparing papers tell you who cheated?

Ah, I see they had three papers, so if the mark on the stolen one was much different it would show up
