Medway 11 plus and changing to GL

I was wondering if anyone can tell me if Medway changing from CEM to GL will have any impact?

Son has been in tutoring and it's all been CEM and just before they broke up, Medway announced it was going back to GL.

Medway just sit a maths, VR and English. The English is not a paper but a creative writing question, so doubt it will have impact there.

Thoughts please?

The Verbal Reasoning will be different (both format and content) as it will now be GL. The format of the Maths test will also now be different but that shouldn't really be an issue. I suggest to familiarise your child with GL Verbal Reasoning quesstion types if you haven't done so already.
