My DD is due to start NGHS in September and I'm having a bit of an issue with the school uniform. I ordered in plenty of time but some is out of stock and some simply doesn't fit (28" skirt is too big but trousers too small!) and now I'm panicking! Can I buy blue blouses from M&S or does it have to be the school version? It doesn't help that there's no local store to try things on. Help! TIA.

Hi, my DD has just finished Y8 at NGHS: we like the school a lot more than the uniform supplier! Have you tried the secondhand uniform Facebook group run by parents? The stuff always seems to be in excellent condition. I can PM you a link if you don’t already have it.
