Hi there, I was wondering if anyone has any recent feedback on these two schools. I know both have had a new head fairly recently and I wanted to get a feel for the schools. I have two boys, one fairly academic, one middle of the class - would they challenge them, get the best out of them without it being a hothouse?
We’re currently in Aus and considering a move back and we went to look around both schools and liked them, but my husband thinks they don’t seem particularly academic.
i don’t think it matters really as long as they’re encouraging and make the subjects interesting. I liked them - they’re currently both at a school where 50% (or thereabouts) are tutored children (lots of Asian families) and honestly I’d like something a bit less this way inclined where they can just enjoy their school days, but get good results, do all the extra curricular stuff and thrive.
Any feedback would be fab!

Have you looked at Churchers in Petersfield? where will you be living?

Yes I have actually, it looks like a brilliant school but very academic. I’m not sure it would suit my younger boy although he would love the sport there. He’s not behind academically, he just sits in the middle of the class.

We’ll be living around Godalming, Haslemere, that kind of area.
