Please can I ask if anyone has any thoughts on Wetherby Senior? Looking at it as an option for our son.
Thanks in advance

I was impressed when I visited - they put on a good show. Zero outdoor space for playing though. I spoke to a parent at another school who was aware of kids being pulled out due to bullying.

I think bullying happens everywhere, not just at Wetherby Senior. Ditto lack of outdoor space and far bus commute for sports. Academic range is wide as not the most academically selective senior schools but they do turn boys down for admissions so not strictly a walk-on. International families given the locale. Runs by a private equity firm so profit-driven. Good brand name, but more at the pre-prep and prep levels. Overall, not a bad choice but not the best choice.

Thank you both so much for your replies, I really appreciate it.

You've definitely given me some food for thought...

Our son is there and we are very happy with it. Absolutely no sign of bullying and I think any such thing would be dealt with swiftly. It's true that outdoor space is limited but it is in a superb central London location so there are certainly upsides to that. Sports facilities are excellent and in Ealing - as we live in West London, this is actually better for us as he comes straight home after games. Small classes, very good headmaster, the school has a dynamism and energy which we thought was missing at some of the bigger schools.
