Independent schools Surrey area

Do non selective independent secondary schools exist in Surrey?

I have one very able child and one below average academically.

We like the idea of independent particularly for DD who being less able I think would benefit from smaller class sizes etc but almost all schools we've looked at require entrance exams which I don't think she'd pass.

Feels like a gap in the market! Really can't send one child privately and one not I don't think that's fair

Any recommendations please?

Seaford college, Box Hill, Dunottar, Ewell Castle, Frensham Heights are less academically selective than many. Does she have a SpLD?

Are you looking for one school to accommodate both? I found this in Surrey too. Apparently box hill is good

Thank you

No specific learning needs - just finds learning hard!

Whilst I'd love then to go to the same school I'm wondering if the same school won't be the best fit for them both.

We are Guildford based and there are a lot of very academic schools near to us

Priors Field ?

Was also going to suggest Priorsfield

St Teresa’s Effingham

Geographically Dunottar is practically next door to Reigate Grammar. They cater for different levels academically so may suit?

If you're near Guildford, how about King Edward's Witley for the one who'd prefer a gentler pace? Personally I'd look for different schools if there's a huge ability range between your two.

King Edwards Witley. Priors Field, Manor House, St Teresa’s, Downsend, Hoe Bridge, Duke of Kent. There is loads of choice!

Mentioned already but second Seaford College and King Edwards Witley.

IMO chose right school for each child as long as doesn't create awful family logistics.
