Bristol schools: Cotham school versus Fairfield High

Hi everyone,

We're relocating to North Bristol this autumn, are abroad at the moment.
We are in the process of getting on year 7 waiting lists for my DS.

I have researched Cotham school and Fairfield high online but would like to hear from those who have direct experience with them, in particular pertaining to pastoral care.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Fairfield excellent, Cotham a bit of a bear garden these days.

No experience of Cotham but pastoral care at Fairfield is excellent. Lots of support for transition to yr 7, responsive staff.
