Forest school in-year admissions

Hi, my daughter was offered a place at Forest school in Walthamstow for year 7 this September. We didn't take the place initially, then had second thoughts and are now on the waiting list. Doesn't look like we'll be offered a place before September as they have had more people accept than normal. Does anyone have any experience of in-year admissions as we plan to go on the vacancy list once the school year starts in September for a place in year 7 or 8?

Do you know your position on the waitlist? You may be lucky and still get an offer as some people holding an independent school place and a grammar school place may yet decide to turn down the independent school spot.

We are number 3 of 3. Its been like that all the way through. I don't think much will change before September. I think our only chance is in year admissions and I'm not sure if that will happen either due to the fact that its a larger than normal year group. That said, I have no idea how many people change their minds at this late stage in the process.
